The KYLO Group Didn't Begin in 2026
The idea behind The KYLO Group began in 1986, the day our founder left for Navy Boot Camp.
What followed was more than twenty years of military service, countless leadership experiences, and the opportunity to observe leaders under pressure. Some inspired confidence and brought out the best in those around them. Others relied on authority, position, or technical expertise but struggled to earn the trust and commitment of their people.
The most effective leaders were rarely defined by their rank, title, or intelligence. The difference was self-awareness. Before they could effectively lead others, they first learned to lead themselves.
That realization became the foundation of The KYLO Group.
